Welcome to Africa Experience

Africa Experience is an educational consultancy offering a wide range of workshops to children and teachers based around African art and culture. Our workshops span diverse subjects ranging from African textiles, tie & dye and block printing to jewellery making and African drumming and dance. Africa Experience aims to promote African art and culture in a fun and informative way. We will beat the drum for Africa while encouraging you to blow your own trumpet.

Based in South East London, Africa Experience has a team of musicians, dancers, storytellers and teachers from around Africa. Our common link is a passion and love of Africa. Africa Experience's mission is to positively celebrate Africa and to help affirm the work done by organisations and schools who are keen to encourage a global outlook. We also work with partner organisations to link schools in the UK who wish to establish partnerships with schools in Africa.  Africa Experience is specifically able to link schools in the UK with schools in Uganda.

To date Africa Experience has provided workshops to over 25,000 children and has provided material for Inset days and staff meetings to 35 schools.
